MARCO BASSANI APPOINTED AS GENERAL MANAGER OF SIAE MICROELETTRONICA DO BRASIL

Milan, March 20th, 2025

SIAE MICROELETTRONICA do Brasil (SMBR) is entering a new chapter with the appointment of Marco Bassani as General Manager, effective March 20th, 2025. In his new role, Marco will lead the subsidiary’s growth, focusing on strategic business expansion, operational efficiency, and financial stability.

Since joining SIAE MICROELETTRONICA in 2021, Marco has played a key role in driving innovation and expansion in the Brazilian market. With a strong background in the telecommunications industry, he previously held leadership positions at Alcatel, Alcatel-Lucent, and Nokia, gaining extensive experience in business strategy, financial management, and operational excellence.

For the new role he reports hierarchically to the Board of Directors and functionally to the Group Managing Director.
In addition to his new role, he will continue to serve as the interim Head of Sales & Marketing Business Development Director, supported by Jhonatan Da Silva.
